Cracker Candy

Layer Cookie sheet with saltine crackers
(Salt side down)

Heat oven to 400

In a sauce pan, melt on medium heat

1 cup Butter
1 cup Sugar

As soon as it starts to bubble,
Boil for 3 minutes
Stirring constantly.
Pour over Saltines and bake
approximately 5 minutes.
Watch carefully, till lightly browned.
Remove from oven and immediately pour

1 Bag Chocolate Chips evenly over
the hot bubbling mixture.

Let chips melt and then spread chocolate
evenly over the crackers.
(Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired)
Cool in Freezer 2 Hours
Remove from Freezer let stand 5 mins
And cut into squares.
Store in zip lock bags or tin
Can be stored in refrigerator or at
Room temperature.
